In 2006 the church responded to a change in pastoral leadership and current trends within rural churches by voting to move into a transitional phase of leadership and operations. During this phase they have worked with ABCOM to redefine their Mission and Ministry to achieve optimal effectiveness as a church of Christ. In doing so they decided to create one administrative body that would oversee all aspects of the church business, ministry, and missions & outreach.
